Vindata ft. Kenzie May – All I Really Need (Regulated Edition)

 

A change of pace can be very refreshing. Finding the next “banger” is always fun but feeling some feelings is crucial to balancing yourself out. The Chicago based duo, Regulators, have been putting out music for some time now but this track has to be my favorite to date. The best description of this track would be simply, Love Trap. The feelings are there but then they give you an added bonus of using a trap beat to keep your head moving. As always with them, the track is up for free download so cop it and show them some love by following them on soundcloud.

Excision & Downlink – Rock You [Free Download]

Hey what’s good Dubstep fans? Hot off the presses for you guys today we have a real treat for you. From the Mount Olympus of Dubstep, Excision and Downlink put out a new free download today titled, “Rock You”. Anyone that grew up listening to classic rock should be at least a little intrigued by this one. They sampled Queen’s super hit, “We WIll Rock You”, and turned it into something that will probably melt your face right off if you are standing in front of that absolutely insane sound system that Excision uses for his shows. I wouldn’t really consider this song to be a real Dubstep track. It sounds more like a baby of Hardstyle, Dubstep, and Trap. Hopefully you have something besides computer speakers to listen to this one with!

ODESZA – Without You (Vindata Remix)

Both artists here are someone you should be keeping an eye on. Odesza and Vindata have each been delivering exceptional tracks back to back and have been taking control of wheel to this future beats ship. We’re currently in a very awesome situation with electronic music where anything goes and artistic freedom is on everyones mind.

Figure – Monsters Vol.4 [Out Now]

Hands down the release I look forward to each year is from Figure with his Monsters series. I’ll admit, I love Halloween so anything with that aesthetic wins me over but coupled with the signature sound that Figure is known for, its a match made in heaven. With each volume I’m blown away and think to myself, “well thats that, he can’t possibly top it”. And he does, every time.

With this one we get 15 tracks when it hits the web October 15 on Doom Music and today we are presented with a clip from the lead single ‘Are You Afraid Of The Dark’. Lexi Norton lends her vocals for this track and adds just the right vibe to give me a shiver. Plus the track title brings back days of watching the ‘Are You Afraid Of The Dark’ TV series on Nickelodeon. I’ve always been more of a Goosebumps kind of guy but I definitely approve of this.
